Importance of Speaking English
English Language is the widely spoken language. It is an international language. It is spoken by the majority of the world population. English language has become an essential language accepted by all country. It is the common language. In school and college, English subject is compulsory to make the student capable to understand and speak in English. There are American English and British English. In Nepal we use commonly British English.
The common question is why has been English language important in Nepal and abroad? The reasons are many. Firstly, a fluent candidate in English ahs the change of getting job in the institution including the government offices. An office holder has to communicate with the foreigner or dealers in English language. Without having knowledge about the English, he/she cannot communicate with the foreigners. Secondly, many tourists visit to the different countries and the guide have to introduce the place in a proper manner. If they do not have any knowledge about English, he/she cannot guide the tourists in a proper way. Thirdly, the reference books are written in English. If they do not have any idea about English, they wouldn't able to understand the things written in the reference book. Fourthly many discoveries are being made day by day. The scientific discoveries are written in English. So, English language is important, man is ambitious by nature. There are many books like medicine, Engineering, etc. Many people want to be pilot, doctor; books are most important which are written in English. Fifthly and lastly English language is important in the conferences, workshops and training. Politicians and high ranking officers have to attend such program in which they have to speak English. If they do not know English language, they can feel humiliating.
English language is related or linked with science, business and commerce. In the globalized world, English language has the vast importance. Many discoveries are being made which is written in English language. In business, we have to go many countries. If we do not know speaking English then he/she may be ashamed of many people.
English language leads us to success. It took us to our aim. Practice makes a man perfect: likewise, if we try to speak English then we will be perfect. English language helps us in different sector of our life. It helps us in different sector of our life. It helps us in getting the job. We should try to speak English for the development of national and human development. But this does not mean that, we should put our national language in danger. We should preserve them as well.
