Interaction Program on " Science and Technology in South Korean School Education "
North Valley English Secondary School is committed to provide the quality education for the holistic development of our students. We do not limit our students' knowledge within the textbook and the boundary of the classroom only. We impart knowledge beyond the text book by organizing and conducting various programs in the school. We want our students and teachers keep abreast with the contemporaries issues and problems to widen their horizon of knowledge. In this connection, North Valley School is organizing seminar and interaction program time and again by inviting guest speaker from various organization.
This time we have invited Prof. C.D. Lee from South Korea to give talk on "Science and Technology in South Korean School Education and Its Role in the Development of Korea". Prof. Lee is a retired personality and has worked several years in the USA. He has more than six decades of work experiences in various capacities in Korea and abroad as a senior scientist. By profession, Prof. Lee is an Electronics Engineer. He has seen the extreme poverty in his country as well as the prosperity in front of his own eyes. Within a short span of time, South Korea has transformed from the extremely poor to the prosperous country in the world by utilizing the knowledge science and technology. The credit goes to the rich Science and Technology curriculum in the Korean School Education and the culture of students' hard work. We hope this interaction program will be encouraging, motivating and inspiring to our students and teachers to understand the importance of science and technology in our country's development.
